The Small Wins

Hello Friend,

I hope you are well,

There is the old saying ‘focus on the process, not the result’. It’s so easy to ignore the process and become too obsessive over the end result, neglecting all the tiny steps required in order to get there. In reality, it’s the small wins that really count.

Small Wins = Massive Wins

Arnold Schwarzanegger was asked the question how he’s still in such great shape, his reply: ‘Do one thing everyday. That’s what counts’. One thing a day soon adds up. One step at a time is all what’s required. One small win.

For example, as a Writer, the goal might be to write one good quality paragraph a day. Keep that momentum going and three days and three paragraphs later, you have yourself an article. That’s 120 articles a year. That’s lot of writing.

It’s not to say we shouldn’t keep the end goal in mind, but we need to recognise that there may be a million and one tiny steps required to achieve the final outcome.

Never neglect the small wins. In the long run, it’s the small wins that really count.

One win a day, is the way!

See you next time,

Yours Sincerely,

Tom
